
Construction continues at The Westin Roco Ki at a feverish pace, with all Westin condominiums under roof and the tiles going on, and construction of the Cliffside Villas has begun. Additionally, the structure of the impressive 20,000-square-foot Westin Conference Center is nearing completion—and when finished—will feature 14 salons, accommodating up to 700 persons for a banquet or special event. The construction of the beachfront Golf Clubhouse is also well underway, with all framework of the expansive structure established.
Scheduled for a spring 2009 opening of the entire course, The Faldo Legacy Course is progressing beautifully, with the first 9 holes open to clients and developers. The clifffside holes 1, 2, 16, 17, 18 are completed as well as scenic holes 3, 4, 14 and 15. The land has been sculpted for the grassing and seeding of all the remaining holes. The masterfully designed 7,118 yard course is anticipated to rank among the Caribbean’s greatest championship golf courses and has been called "the Pebble Beach"of the Dominican Republic.
Upon completion, Roco Ki will include a 255-room Westin Hotel, the Fairmont Residences, a collection of condominiums, villas and estate homes, and the Fairmont Heritage Place, a private residence club. The Fairmont Resort will also feature restaurants and bars, world-class meeting space, the Willow Stream Spa, fitness area, pool, and beach facilities.
Villa offerings range from $700,000 to $2,100,000 depending on your own particular vision of paradise and beachfront lots are available starting at 850 US$ per m2. The Scotiabank and the tourism projects developer Roco Ki just signed an agreement to provide financing through mortgages in dollars to clients who don't reside in the country, and want to acquire some land or home in this recognized project.
The Scotiabank provides up to 75% financing, fast loan approval and term of amortization of up to 25 years and other requirements to finance this project.
