Punta Cana Open 2008 Golf Tournament Almost Sold Out!
Players planning on participating in the tournament should sign up now. Over the past few weeks we have received an overwhelming amount of positive response to this year's Punta Cana Open golf tournament, which has resulted in an almost sold out event. After our last two golf tournaments (Punta Cana Open 2007 and Punta Cana Spring Classic 2008), people are signing up for the Punta Cana Open 2008 even quicker than we had anticipated. We now have only a few openings left, so if you are planning on participating in the Punta Cana Open 2008 golf tournament, please do not hesitate to send your registration immediately. This is the last call for participants to sign up for the tournament. The tournament will be held November 8 - 15 in Punta Cana, the Dominican Republic - with space for 120 players. All players (and non-players) will be staying at the
Melia Caribe Tropical 5-star, all inclusive resort and playing some of the best golf courses in the Dominican Republic during ment week. The golf courses include
Cocotal Golf & Country Club (José “Pepe” Gancedo design),
Punta Blanca (Nick Price design),
La Cana (P. B. Dye design) and
Punta Espada (Jack Nicklaus signature design). The Punta Espada golf course is especially interesting since it was the host of the Champions Tour in April 2008 and since it will close and become a “member's only golf course” in approx. 1 year as Cap Cana opens its second Jack Nicklaus golf course - Las Iguanas. A grand opening ceremony and a spectacular gala dinner with prize ceremony are included in the tournament package. Last year's participants can vouch for a phenomenal event, and we are confident that this year's tournament will be equally worth the positive reputation that surrounds the annual Punta Cana Open tournament.
