The Casino Diamante Dominicus Bayahibe has been designed according to the concept of a large gambling Casino of Las Vegas. It covers an area of over three thousand square meters and is open daily from 6:00 pm to 4:00 am.

The games offered are: Roulette, Baccarat, Three Card Poker, Texas Hold'em Poker, Caribbean Poker, Blackjack, Chemin de Fer and Slot Machines. Limits range from $5 to $300 dollars. Among it's attractions, the Casino offers a Bar and three Restaurants, each with a gourmet style and different environment. Transportation can be arranged out of Casa de Campo.

The newest addition to the resort for the convenience of both the private villa owners and their guests is now a Sunix gas station recently opened conveniently located near the entrance of the resort.

From April 21st to the 24th, the Marina Casa de Campo will play proud host to the Rolex farr 40 sailing regatta, the world’s most prestigious,  and exciting sailing event!
The 10 boats participating in the event are Barking Mad , Flash Gordon, Enfant Terrible, Estate Master, Transfusion, Nerone, Strunjte Light, Fiamma, Plenty and Goombay Smash and all have now been offloaded and are currently in the Marina Casa de Campo being prepared for the up-coming event.

A new yacht sales and service company, has just set up shop in the Casa de Campo marina. Eudaldo R. Hernandez founded ERH marine, primarily to sell yachts, but with a vision to provide much more; ERH marine does sell boats, but they also provide an exceptional customer service, which stretches far beyond the purchase of the perfect boat. Instead of a "sales office", ERH Marine has an owners lounge - complete with plasma-screen TV and comfy sofas, the perfect place to relax after a tough day’s sailing!

Cap cana has succesfully restructured its debt. The global economy crisis virtually shut down the international capital markets for Latin American issuers as Cap Cana. The succesful issue of new bonds in exchange for the 2006 bonds was formalized last month, allowing the re-starting of the construction and development of the next real estate stages of this unique developing tourist resort, known as "The World's Great Destination"

Central Romana is investing 160 million US$ to ensure Casa de Campo's elite status in the Caribbean region. Recently the company installed a new combustion system at the sugar mill in order to reduce energy use and to inprove the environment protection.Also the company will conclude a state of the art medical center to be added to the existing hospital.

In the resort the company is completing the new golf course next to the back nine of the Dye Fore, another addition to the Pete Dye's golf legacy.

At Altos de Chavon the popular Papa Jack's bar has undergone a major face lift. A covered deck was added and now offers accomodation to a restaurant, run by famous chef Carlos Rosario who also does home catering to villa owners.

Another important step for the convenience of the villa owners and guests was the inauguration of Scotiabank at Puntacana Village. On January 2009, the 4th stage of Galerias at Puntacana Village will be opened. It will offer more options and services, including a bakery, Mailboxes Inc, restaurants, shops and others. Meanwhile, Ilumel, one of the largest home décor stores in the country, opened successfully this year in the new Shopping Mall. Soon, Cerarte (home flooring) and a professional Gym will open there too. Jumbo Supermarket and Ferreteria Americana are also scheduled by contract, to begin construction during the first trimester of 2009.
